At Autocrat, we have been a family owned and operated business for more than a century. Since 1895, we have been manufacturing premium coffee and syrup. Autocrat also produces coffee extracts that serve coffee ingredient needs, as well as liquid coffee concentrate extracted through our proprietary process using fresh roasted coffee. Liquid coffee concentrate is mixed with water for coffee on demand. Our coffee extracts and liquid coffee extracts are made using carefully roasted select beans that are extracted to their fullest flavor potential. Autocrat is one of the largest coffee roasters in New England and today we have the same philosophy as when we first opened our doors of
"only the best" will do.

Newport Coffee Traders now offers International Paper ecotainer™ cups
Newport Coffee Traders, a specialty gourmet coffee roaster, announced today that it is now offering the only 100% compostable hot cup certified by the Biodegradable Products Institute (BPI). Sourced from fully renewable resources the ecotainer™ cup uses a corn-based plastic inner lining, as opposed to the petrochemical plastic lining used in conventional hot cups. Customers will notice no difference in their enjoyment of coffee with this cup, but the environment will.

Autocrat Wins Contest for Oldest Working Machine
Last year the Service Department at Autocrat Coffee entered a contest sponsored by Fetco, a leading coffee equipment supplier in Lake Zurich, IL. The purpose of the contest was to determine which company in the United States had the oldest working CBS-52H machine. Recently, Autocrat won the contest with a machine that is fourteen-years old having been purchased in February of 1994.
